Stephanie Hobson

Stephanie is an educated and highly compassionate individual who is fiercely resolved to make every day count in the lives of those around her. She holds two Master’s degrees, a Ph.D and a Th.D.

She held Management and Executive positions in Sales, Project Management and Human Resources in Technology, Manufacturing, and Publishing before moving to the USA in 2002. She is certified in the UK through the CIPD as a Senior HR Professional, and as a counsellor. She spent much of her personal time working in community organizations, hospital ministries, youthwork and church outreach, and with young women in situations where guidance was desperately needed.

After moving to the USA, Stephanie became a Board Member and Senior Manager with Libera, Inc, (libera.com, services@libera.comsolutions@libera.com) and, after holding several key executive positions, was promoted to CEO and President in 2013. Shortly thereafter, Stephanie conducted an MBO to purchase Libera, and subsequently registered Libera as a WBE organization. These certifications and networks are now fully leveraged not only to gain additional business opportunities, but also as a vehicle to meet like-minded women with whom there may be a similar synergy. Under Stephanie’s leadership Libera continues to build Libera’s core software portfolio of welfare related solutions that assist state government around the country with running their federally funded programs in providing services to people in need. She is certified in the US as a Senior HR Professional through SHRM, and as a Project Manager / Program Manager through PMI.

Stephanie has donated software solutions along with support to local organizations such as the Lutheran Social Services (LSS), the Department of Social Services (DSS), The Resource Center (TRS), and the Office of Veterans Services (OVS).

In 2015, Stephanie started a technology Incubator for new ideas to be realized using software and has already launched two incubator programs. One of these was launched in Sicily, Italy in 2016 and assists the economically challenged population to obtain transportation while generating income at the same time. (ez2transfer.com) The second program was started early in 2017 in Brussels, Belgium in the bio agricultural space, and includes a patent, prototype, and third party endorsement. While this creation will assist farmers with monitoring the health, wellbeing and location of herds of cows using GPS, the IoT, and non-invasive technologies, it can be leveraged for many other different types of animal species. (movmentllc.com). This means that Libera has become a successful exporter of American goods to Europe, and as such is eligible for grants to assist with this growth strategy.

In 2018 Stephanie launched Optimal Measures, a leadership consulting organization that leverages her Human Resources skillset. (optimalmeasures.com) This organization provides additional opportunities for management consultants and HR practitioners to expand their sphere of influence and increase their impact on people by using tools of excellence provided exclusively by OM to the American market. There tools specifically help leaders empower the teams and people with whom they work.

Stephanie has held board positions with community organizations such as Treasurer and Secretary, Music and Choir Director for a church, and is currently serving in children’s ministries for a local church. Stephanie’s 2019 venture is a Not-for-Profit, the details of which are being developed at this time.
